CS. Dr. Patrick Akhaukwa is the Registrar in charge of Planning and Administration at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST). He has extensive experience in strategic planning, general administration, human resources management (with expertise in industrial relations, formulation of policies, procedures and strategic plan) and administration of staff retirement benefits scheme.
Besides the practice, CS. Dr. Akhaukwa has taught (at university level), carried out research and published extensively in the fields of human resources management, industrial relations and strategic management.
CS. Dr. Akhaukwa is PhD holder in Strategic Management from Moi University, MSc (HRM) from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), BA from Kenyatta University, a Certified Public Secretary Kenya (CPSK). He is a full member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM) and a member of the Institute of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK).
CS. Dr. Akhaukwa has a wide experience in university administration from reputable universities including JOOUST (current), Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology and Kenyatta University. He has also taught for KCA University Kisumu campus, Kibabii University, Kisii University, among others.
CS. Dr. Akhaukwa enjoys working and developing people to elicit their full potential for purposes of enhancing skills and performance at the individual, organizational and national levels.
