Erick, an Associate Professor of Computational Statistics at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST), specializes in data science and applied statistics. He is the founding Director of JOOUST TVET, a former Director of Resource Mobilization, and currently works on developing a Data Centre to support data repositories, analytics, and AI-driven decision-making.

Previously, he served as a statistician and R programmer for the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) and holds adjunct and examiner roles at other universities. Erick has a BSc and MSc from the University of Nairobi and a PhD in Applied Statistics from JOOUST. Skilled in tools like R, Python, STATA, Tableau, and Power BI, his expertise spans the entire data systems value chain. His research integrates his statistical knowledge and diverse experiences, including training from the Kenya Police Training College, to create innovative solutions in data science and beyond.
